The Campsite

Rutland
Greendale, formerly known as Greendale
Farm Park, is a small friendly caravan and camping site with 15 touring
pitches, surrounded by rolling countryside.
Cows and/or sheep may be in the adjoining fields. We
are 5 miles from Rutland Water.
Our facilities include a small heated outdoor swimming
pool; both ladies and gent’s toilet and shower with free hot
water; washing up sink; calor gas exchange; basic shop with tourist
information, fridge for campers use, coffee/tea facilities, phone
and laundry sink. There is a small quality library [books and
games] with all proceeds going
to charity - Rutland Sailability [disabled sailing] for 2002.
We are a short walk from the village which has two good pubs [one serves excellent food] plus a working windmill
renowned for its organic flour.

Our stream is being managed as a conservation
area and we have achieved the Silver David Bellamy Conservation Award.
Children are welcome but we have no open spaces
for cycling or football on site and, because of the stream needs
supervision. We do encourage young people to enter our art,
sunflower and swimming competitions.
